As we expand beyond Long Island and NYC, Westchester County and southern Connecticut have become a natural extension of our service area — similar in character to the North Shore, with historic homes, wooded properties, and families who value the same white-glove care we've built our name on.
Westchester and Connecticut's older homes — many dating to the 18th and 19th centuries — often feature low ceilings, narrow doorways, and steep, winding staircases original to the home's construction. These homes weren't built with modern furniture dimensions in mind, let alone a six-foot grand piano, so careful measuring and creative routing (sometimes through a window or porch) are part of the job.
Properties here are often set back from the road on long gravel or dirt driveways through wooded land, which can be tricky for larger trucks — especially after rain or snow. Seasonal weather plays a bigger role in scheduling here than in denser areas, and our crews plan routes and timing accordingly.
